Grupo Rompe Cajón has played in numerous venues in the DC Metro Area. We tailor our performances based on your needs. For example:

Short performances of 10-15 minutes to showcase a few different Afro-Peruvian genres.

Educational presentations, from 20 to 45 minutes, combining performances with detailed descriptions of the music's historical and cultural context, explanation of the instruments, and more details.

Full length concerts, covering the full spectrum of Afro-Peruvian genres, mixed with popular Latino songs played with Afro-Peruvian rhythms.

Benefit concert to support local radio station Takoma Radio WOWD 94.3 FM. This radio station is one of the things that makes living in this area special, a real community feel. They've been a big supporter of Rompe Cajon.
