Grupo Rompe Cajon has played in numerous venues in the DC Metro Area. We tailor our performances based on your needs. For example:

  • Short performances of 10-15 minutes to showcase a few different Afro-Peruvian genres.

  • Educational presentations, from 20 to 45 minutes, combining performances with detailed descriptions of the music's historical and cultural context, explanation of the instruments, and more details.

  • Full length concerts, covering the full spectrum of Afro-Peruvian genres, mixed with popular Latino songs played with Afro-Peruvian rhythms.
